Defining Light Photography specializes in capturing the exceptional moments intrinsic in weddings, special events, and high-end portraiture. Our ideal balance between photojournalistic styling and traditional techniques has given us the reputation as Northern New Hampshire’s exclusive special event studio.

As owner and chief photographer, my goal is to bring sophisticated styling and skills to Northern New England. During the course of my career as a photographer, I have lived and worked in multiple cities nationwide and had the pleasure of photographing a wide array of events. As a result, I have been able to incorporate the photographic techniques acquired in each of these settings into my repertoire to enhance my abilities in the field. Throughout the past twelve years, continuing my educational pursuits has remained a top priority for me, as it is my feeling that doing so is necessary for me to continue to produce quality products. I attend regular photography conferences and always strive to challenge my personal best. The breadth of my experiences during this time has helped me to develop my unique approach and has led me to fill a fundamental niche for new and creative style complemented by excellence in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

This innovation allows you to view your photographs online as early as the day after your event or sitting. By shooting in a variety of styles, we are able to provide a multiplicity of color, black and white, and sepia, as well as hand-colored photographs.
